![]() ![]() In fact I'm enjoying working through ProTools and getting to know it. The Eleven rack came up as an input option, exactly as one would hope, and it worked when selected.Īvid claim that the Eleven works with Snow Leopard - and indeed it does, and I have no trouble with using ProTools. That runs the older Leopard OS and Garageband 09. I also tried taking the Eleven to another iMac that I use elsewhere. So that's a workaround, but it's pretty clumsy and I'm not sure whether it might throw up other issues in use.Ĥ. Garageband had no trouble seeing the old setup and it could hear the signal. Running the signal out of the phones jack on the Eleven and into my old Yamaha Audiogram USB interface. ![]() I even downloaded a 2gig update for Protools LE from 8.03 to to 8.05 which installs Core Audio files as recent as last month. So I have Snow Leopard OSX 10.6.7 and Garageband 11 (version 6.0.2). Checking that everything in the chain is reasonably current - right through to updating the Eleven firmware from 1.02 to the latest 1.03. I tried using the one on the disk and a later version from the Avid site. installing just the Core Audio component, as recommended in the instructions. But it won't work on this iMac, and I'm not sure how to work through finding out why. Could anybody please shed any light on what seems to be a technical issue, namely that I can't get Garageband to recognise my new Eleven rack.
